Suggestions and spoilers

  • Strengths: Very powerful mid- to late-game land force.
  • Weaknesses: Hardly any proper navy, mediocre economic bonuses — booming is not an option.

Helvetia are a highly militaristic faction centred around defensive units — in fact, their one economic advantage, Metal, is well-geared towards contributing to the development of your military-industrial complex, especially so in the late game. Beyond that, however, Helvetia as an economic faction is very limited - your true strength lies in your units and your ability to punish the armies of other factions.

Strongest ability is the ability of Supply Wagons to heal nearby units. If Confucian Academy is seized it increases.

Swiss are all about levy units, and traditional pike and arrow infantry. Only Knights are available, use them well.
